But in the post about hypothetical homophobia in the clans I read "sexualities are seen as any other matesprit preference" and the thought of trying to combine homestuck troll quadrants with every complexity here launched me into the stratosphere (<- I'm not sure what emotion that's meant to invoke. And then in the comic, the drama comes from their society's expectation that you're ideally supposed to have one of each. "Filled quadrants." It's considered deviant to have 2 of one type, and pathetic to have no quadrants filled.

It's a replacement for the fact that Trolls don't have parents, or family. Just an animal that technically raises them, called a lusus, and ancestors that they closest resemble. They don't typically have brothers, or cousins, or what have you.

To be honest, yea! We are engaged in the same sort of thing: analysing structures and finding patterns in common between separate situations. I tend to like literature for the same reasons that I enjoy math. I sometimes make posts of a pretty technical nature, but I also reblog a lot of things that other people have made. If you have an aesthetic appreciation for math even if you don't have much of the technical knowledge, I'm sure there's good stuff to take away from this blog.

in the old days of the MSPA forums when homestuck was at its peak they implemented a rule saying that all mentions of vriska had to be relegated to specific quarantined threads otherwise every thread would turn into a giant vriska argument and i think we should do this on twitter with any mention of batman

Which was what started the boycotting starbucks trend, that Starbuck's actually corp didn't want their union to support terroist acts.) In 2020 these HS fans were all about "punching nazis." They don't care about Jewish people. If they did they wouldn't be shitting all over them openly now. They're just people filled with hate that are using anything they can find as a shield so there is no making sense of anything they're doing. You can't argue with an idoit and no poking holes in their logic will change. They're just going to drag you down with their stupid arguments and they will say the most sexist things about women to justify John being June. And they will morph character's personalities to force ships that make no sense to be canon. I keep trying to ignore these types, but it's hard to not get angry. They make the causes they stand for look like jokes. And I do care about women and children living in Palestine, but Queers for Palastine is the funniest fucking thing I've heard in years. It's like something you'd hear in the most offensive comedy special ever made. Exactly like the Black White Supremacist in Chappelle's Show.
